What are the check-in and check out times? 
  • Check-in: from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
  • Check-out 10:00 AM
Can I store my luggage before check-in or after check-out?

Yes. We can store your luggage before or after check-in. Please come to the front desk.

I will reach the guesthouse after 9PM. Do you accept late check-ins? Are there any curfews?

Check-ins after 9:00 PM incur an additional fee (¥1,000/hour). Please inform us of your late arrival in advance or consult with us in case of unavoidable circumstances.

There is no curfew after check-in.

I am allergic to or uncomfortable around cats. Can I stay at Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya?

Yes. Please rest assured that cats do not enter the guest rooms.

While they have gentle personalities, if you are uncomfortable around cats, please let us know. We will keep them in the manager’s room.

Do you offer transfer/shuttle service from the Miyajima ferry terminal?

As we operate with limited personnel we cannot offer a shuttle service.

The guesthouse is approximately a 15-minute walk from the port. Alternatively, we recommend taking a taxi.

Can I take a taxi in Miyajima?

Yes. There are taxis circulating around Miyajima, but please be aware that they may not always be available.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies for breakfast and dinner?

We can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets for dinner and breakfast.

Please inform us in advance of any dietary restrictions you may have.

Can I reserve my spot for the Japanese baths in advance?

We do not accept advance reservations for baths. Please register with us at check-in on the day of your stay.

Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
